Introduction

The United Nations Office of Information and Communication Technology is an office of the United Nations, an international inter-governmental organization founded by its Member States pursuant to the Charter of the United Nations, signed in San Francisco on 26 June 1945, and having its Headquarters in New York, New York 10017, working in the context of the United Nations Technology Innovation Labs programme (“UNTIL”).

UNTIL built the 1point5 app as a free to use app (“the App”). The App is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This document is used to inform users of the App regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.

Personal data

The App does not use Personal Information to function. It establishes distances between users using a phone’s Bluetooth signal. This information cannot be traced back to an individual.

The App does NOT use geolocation information from the device. The App does not require login information, like for example an email address.
